As described and more importantly the Capacity is as stated, Many knock off's skimp on the internals, a fact I have learned with many a replacement battery storage energy... This is an Exact replacement for use in my Black and Decker Electromate 400 . Price with shipping less than 1/2 what my local retailer sold one for.
The battery was shipped with new lug screws, it was 'fully-charged', and the identical size and configuration as the battery storage solar it replaced. My stand-alone battery jump starter / air pump kit now functions as when it was new. The old battery lost its ability to hold the full-charge needed for the 'jump-start' function. I was worried that the old battery would not be the problem, but it was solved with the replacement lifepo4 storage battery.I just got this battery today. I needed a 12V battery to run a small 2.0 horsepower trolling motor for an inflatable boat. My boyfriend was getting tired of using his truck battery. This 12V solar storage battery worked great. I only expected it to last about an hour before needed to be charged, but i was out on the pond for a good 3 hours and it worked fine. Could have lasted longer, but we got bored. Lol.
Excellent batteries. Haven't had them for long, but they are doing the jobs of replacing power wheels/pego batteries nicely. Kids can run all afternoon on hilly terrain with these lifepo4 solar storage batteries. Packing from ExpertPowerDirect was questionable being only wrapped in cardboard then put in bubble pack envelope. But they arrived with no major damage and fully functional. As I said, I'm using these for my kids' power wheels and pego vehicles, which I modified with EC5 connectors commonality.
I should note that although this worked great in summer, for winter, we needed a bigger solar energy battery. A much bigger one, lol. We actually had to practice conservation of energy. It was a hard and interesting experience. Showed us how much we do rely on things. But when the power did go out, it was nice not to have to scramble for candles and flashlights. It was nice to continue watching our movie with the heat on, put on a pot of tea and eat leftovers. Even if one can't afford to go full solar, which we can't just yet - laundry, dishwasher, yikes - but it's still so awesome as a back up.
If I could give 10 stars I would. These folks got an email from me asking for faster than expedited shipping as I needed this for a camping trip to power a medical device. So far working great in my deer blind. I have it hooked up to a 100 watt solar panel, running some led lights, 12 volt outlets and a 19 flat screen TV.Came in when promised. Wired in parallel with last one as part of small solar operation and emergency backup supply. Haven't discharged it yet, but expect it to perform.I bought a jazzy from a thrift store that needed new batteries, I went to my local store that sells jazzy's to purchase new energy storage batteries, they cost $400 a piece! I am so thankful I found these batteries here, it saved me a ton of money. No issues with them, they charded up quick and hold a charge for quite a while.
Although I have not received them yet, I can say from the specs and info I've read, they will be perfect for my incoming 300w/30a solar setup and 3kw inverter. I ordered 4 as a dependable bank for my off-grid needs.Arrived this morning in pristine condition. Individually boxed and was placed in another palletized box. Still awaiting parts for full install but using a 1.8A trickle solar charger until then. 500ah setup with these beasts. Great to have them!
