Used this to run a small trolling motor on my canoe, worked great, never drained it, but didn't go out for very long. Love that I can tip it over, get it wet, not worry about venting it when charging. You pay more, but LOVE the sealed solar pv battery storage systems. Using it right now with a 60 watt solar panel in my basement (in winter) to run some misc chargers etc as a fun side project, but it handled the trolling motor on my canoe just fine and fit in the middle seat compartment. So far no complaints.

Use it instead of heavy weight lifepo4 solar storage batteries like 200AH. You can buy 6 of 35AH that make the total of 210AH. 12 batteries will be 420AH. For the elder like me, I prefer small storage batteries to hook up. Even commercial solar business companies recommend me to use that size, 35AH to install 5Kw= 5000Watt. But they asked me to pay $22500 to build it. So, I bought two complete-kits with 4 of 100watt-solar-panels each. Then, I bought six of 35AH solar energy storage batteries. I have to buy 18 more, because each of the complete-kit can charge for 400AH. I am using 12 batteries to each kit. You will be happy. Do it your self -- do not pay $22500. It will be enough for my free-of-charge meditation center on the 19-acre of land in Arizona.

During a recent 2 1/2 day blackout, I was able to power a lamp for 10+ hours, my laptop, desk lamp, desktop monitor and cell phone for two 8 hour days. This allowed me to work from home and avoid all the traffic due to the stop light being out. I am sure there was still plenty of power left in the lifepo4 storage battery, I just did not want to drain it to much. I have now purchased a second battery to power my freezer for a few days if needed.
         
Fast shipping double boxed, and arrived in excellent condition. Wow I am able to run a couple of things at the same time on just this one battery and do not have to worry about any gas or venting a solar storage battery system box. When money allows I will get at least 8 of these, but really want 16. I highly recommend these to anyone who has or plans an off the grid solar setup.

This battery is not a good choice for handicap scooters. I build my own here. The run time for a single use on "AGM" battery,is not near as good as a "GEL" battery.They will last as many months as a gel customized lifepo4 solar storage battery; but the number of hours of use before recharge is low .I think thats why there is a big difference in price. As for the sales person they where great! Very helpful in answering my questions.Its a matter of learning what lifepo4 storage battery will meet my needs best. GEL are still superior.
